About ZGBIST

I was born in Switzerland and lived there until I finished high school. In 2012, I moved to Zagreb to study tourism and hotel management and received the license as tour guide for the city of Zagreb. My bachelor thesis, Key Hunter Zagreb – A different kind of sight-seeing tour  was awarded best bachelor thesis of the year by the dean and won the first prize at the national competition Hrvatska Pamet Hrvatskoj in the category “Destination Croatia”.
Besides having over a decade of experience in a wide range of jobs in the tourism industry, shooting photographs has always been an essential part of my life. I was not only attracted to event and party photography, but also to documentary and urban photography, which resulted in starting a successful Tumblr Blog named Zagrebist about Croatia’s capital city in 2016.
Since 2017, I am a street art hunter for the world-wide project Street Art Cities.
In 2018, I worked as an assistant at the Image of War photography museum and currently, I am assisting Cleverclip, a Swiss communication design agency, and Comvation, a digital and web agency, in their marketing activities.

Besides that, I also work as a freelance writer, tour guide and I am a member of the Fotoklub Zagreb, where I have participated in several group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad.
